We're still working to improve oral care, and we'll never stop.
The Advantage Arrest® Silver Diamine Fluroride 38% (SDF) family of products is continuing to grow. In November 2022, we launched Advantage Arrest Silver Diamine Fluoride 38% GEL. This new formula delivers the same SDF product you know and love, still in the blue color in a thicker formulation that stays where you apply it better. Lower the risk of staining other areas of the mouth inadvertently by adding Advantage Arrest SDF Gel to your treatment options. Ask your Preventive Care Consultant about it today!
SDF has not only significantly changed treatment in dental offices with the two CDT Codes available (D1354 and D1355), but it is also changing the medical providers in the USA. In January 2023, there was a new published CPT code for SDF treatment, X115T. This Category III code allows medical offices to track and bill for SDF treatments in medical practices. This new code will go into effect in July of 2023. You can view the panel actions here (https://www.ama-assn.org/system/files/september-2022-cpt-summary-panel-actions.pdf).
We’re thrilled to expand our patented dry mouth relief line with the launch of Allday® Dry Mouth Gel in August of 2022. Allday Gel has the same 44% xylitol, neutral pH, and unique mucoadhesives that you value in the Allday Dry Mouth Spray. The thicker gel formula is an excellent complement to the spray for those patients that may prefer a thicker consistency. Up to ¼ of your patients probably has some form of dry mouth. Provide these high-risk patients with options for relief and maintaining good oral health. Ask your Preventive Care Consultant about stocking Allday brand dry mouth relief products in your office today. If you would rather refer your patients to purchase online, ask for one of our FREE helpful communication tools.
The Elevating Care™ continuing education platform we launched during the Covid-19 shut down is still running strong. We’re conducting roughly one live webinar each month, and housing them on our website for self-study CE. You can always view this great content by clicking the link above and receive AGD PACE Credit after completing a brief quiz afterwards.
